Individual Champion for Youth Honoree
We are thrilled to announce that BGCC board member Paula Kendrick will be honored at this year’s Fiesta de la Puerta Azul: Mission Possible on October 5th at SoFi Stadium.
Paula Kendrick is actively involved with four charitable boards, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson. Since joining in 2023, she has introduced 50 people to our mission, converting them into donors. She has generously contributed her time to strengthen Club programs, with a special focus on her adopted Club site, Markham Middle School. Paula has leveraged her resources and connections to enhance programming, and has become a personal donor. Notably, she has led the board in peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives and serves on both the Resource Development Committee and the Governance Committee.
“I had no idea of the true depth of offerings and support provided by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson. I’ve made it my personal mission to ensure that everyone in my sphere of influence learns about the incredible work being done to build Great Futures for youth in the greater South Bay,” she shares.
A beacon of creativity and innovation, Paula has made an incredible impact on BGCC in just one year. Her philanthropic endeavors have also led her to secure funding for a well in Uganda, providing clean water to 1,000 children and families, and to teach for two years on weekends at the Union Rescue Mission in Downtown LA on Skid Row.
Paula Kendrick is the founder of CMP, a risk management consulting company providing insurance management services to middle-market business community and group captives. She is deeply passionate about serving others and making a difference in the lives of underserved youth and communities.
Join us on October 5th at SoFi to celebrate her remarkable contributions and unwavering commitment to our mission.
